What Are Trade Plans in VaultCharts?

Trade plans turn a setup into a tracked decision lifecycle on your device:

  1. Planned — Idea is defined — entry, stop, targets, notes — not yet live
  2. Open — Position is active; manage against the plan
  3. Closed — Done — review outcome and journal lessons

What you can attach

  • Targets and stops (structure your R)
  • Notes (thesis, HTF bias, invalidation)
  • Performance tracking after close

Plans do not place broker orders. VaultCharts is for analysis and process — you execute elsewhere.

Suggested workflow

  1. Spot a setup (patterns, levels, or AI scan).
  2. Write the plan while still Planned.
  3. Move to Open only when criteria are met.
  4. On close, run a post-trade review and score R.
