What Are Trade Plans in VaultCharts?
Trade plans turn a setup into a tracked decision lifecycle on your device:
- Planned — Idea is defined — entry, stop, targets, notes — not yet live
- Open — Position is active; manage against the plan
- Closed — Done — review outcome and journal lessons
What you can attach
- Targets and stops (structure your R)
- Notes (thesis, HTF bias, invalidation)
- Performance tracking after close
Plans do not place broker orders. VaultCharts is for analysis and process — you execute elsewhere.
Suggested workflow
- Spot a setup (patterns, levels, or AI scan).
- Write the plan while still Planned.
- Move to Open only when criteria are met.
- On close, run a post-trade review and score R.
